Corbett Bishop, Born in Texas in 1971, Corbett has been hunting with passion since his youth and has spent uncountable hours alone in the bush with his rifle and/or shotgun, it is his favorite environment by far.
Corbett’s career has taken him, as a professional climber and guide with Mountain Madness, from the higthest mountains on three continents, to blue water sailing on tall ships in both the pacific and atlantic as crew and mate, and on to hunting big game on the same three continents.
Corbett, since 1988, has travelled and guided extensively across Africa also, bringing a rare body of experience to his work.
His work in training National Park Rangers in the use of firearms with dangerous game and anti-poaching work in both Tanzania and Kenya speaks well of his reputation and professionalism in his field.
Currently Corbett runs the Ol Tukai Conservancy (www.oltukai.org) near Lake Manyara in Northern Tanzania, is very active in hunting and photographic safari guiding work, as well as being an active member of the African Game Ranger’s Association.
